AK (Alaska) Island Treasures

Crafted and created Alaskan Native designed jewelry and decor handmade by indigenous Inupiaq Eskimo Helenmarie Sinnok from Shishmaref Alaska, USA. I utilize legal altered Marine Mammal Protection Act sustainable harvested natural fur, bone, or teeth materials such as seal (ice), walrus ivory (sea horse), whale, polar bear and sea otter, embellishing with salmon, mammoth ivory, Alaska Kobuk jade, leather, furs, and beads. Many of my materials are harvested or located by myself and my family. I am a cultural instructor employed with our local K-12 school, teaching our local Native culture and values, arts in carving and sewing, and language.
